Creative Literacy:

  • Words into Action
  • Play in a Day

Performances and workshops are led by professional actors and teachers who guarantee your pupils an exciting and engaging creative learning experience. All our tutors have enhanced disclosure from the CRB.

Issue based Drama

Observing and participating in drama and theatrical performances is proven to be a powerful learning tool.

Through the medium of Drama, LADA sensitively handles issue based topics such as Sex Education, Drugs and Alcohol, Bullying, Citizenship etc... Be it creating a one off performance to tackle an issue relevant to your school or devising a workshop to engage your children to consider the impact of their actions.

Our Issue Based Drama projects are of the high professional standard with trained actors/facilitators delivering each project to ensure all aims are achieved.

All workshops are fully researched with a heavy focus on fact and involve role-play and forum theatre to stimulate discussion.

Speaking and Listening Programme

A unique project which develops the speaking and listening skills of pupils during the transition from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3.

LADA deliver weekly one hour workshops to develop the pupils’ confidence, individuality, listening and speaking. Each week new exercises, games and texts are introduced to strengthen your pupils’ key life skills.

This exciting and engaging project is ideally designed to be delivered over the course of one academic year. However, shorter projects can be delivered with dynamic results being achieved. A full plan is also provided to justify the workshop within the teachers planning folder.
