Summer School
The Lincoln Academy of Dramatic Arts Drama Summer School offers a fun and educational solution for your summer childcare needs. Designed for all children aged from 5 to 11 years old, it is the best way to spend a week in the summer!
The LADA summer school is a fun and exciting week spent rehearsing a production which will be performed on the final day to friends and family. During the week the children are led through rehearsals by trained actors/youth workers and get involved with making props, learning songs, playing lots of drama games and learning new skills. All the children will experience working as a team and being involved in sports, dance, singing, and drama.
All children will receive a prestigious LADA attendance Certificate. The Summer School runs from 9.30am – 5pm which offers an ideal solution to your child care requirements. Our summer schools take place at various locations throughout Lincolnshire - at a school near you!
How it works…
The Summer School runs from 9.30am – 5pm every day for one week. Throughout the week the children will experience working as a team and being involved in sports activities, dance, singing, prop making and drama. The week culminates in a performance to friends and family on the last day.
What you require…
- A packed lunch with plenty to drink
- A Pencil
- Suitable clothing for movement
- Suitable clothing for painting or an apron
- Sports kit
We provide all other materials!
Your child can be involved in art sessions, drama sessions, activity games, puzzles, quizzes, and team activities.Plus, a final performance at the end of the week to friends and family.
2009 Summer Schools
This year's summer schools have now all taken place and were a great success. This year we deilvered more summer schools than ever before.
All the children worked very hard and had great fun over the summer. This year they rehearsed and performed a wonderful production of 'The Blue Crystal'.
