Lincoln Academy of Dramatic Arts
Academy of Dramatic Arts

Lincolnshire’s Leading Theatre Academy

LADA leads the way in Lincolnshire for young people’s theatre training, providing regular and one off workshops and classes. We focus on developing performance and key life skills of the young people we work with.

The Academy’s classes are divided into age groups where pupils are taught various skills from across the industry. These include: improvisation, text work, acting to the camera technique, voice work, mask work, stage combat, street theatre, individual and group work.

We build self confidence, self-expression and self esteem. Our detailed work with our students enhances and develops articulation, poise, and communication skills whilst unlocking the imagination and strengthening other key life skills. No experience is necessary, just dedication and a willingness to learn whilst having a great deal of fun in the process.

Many Students attending our regular classes take the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) examinations. Theses graded acting examinations have now been accredited by UCAS, the university entrance body, enabling students to have their examinations count towards their university applications. We are proud that all our students entered so far have a 100% pass rate.

All the classes are delivered by experienced tutors with full CRB screening. Our tutors have a professional theater background and experience of working with young people.
